BRIEF HISTORY
Arthur-B health care organization is non-governmental organization, duly incorporated with Cooperate Affairs Commission (CAC) of federal republic of Nigeria with registration number – RC 1400493. Prior to its incorporation, the organization worked in partnership with THOMPSON Healthcare organization for over 5 years until the organization was fully incorporated in 2017. The organization has been active in the scheme of things in Abia state healthcare delivery system, and has executed, many activities within the state including world bank assisted projects, (both as a standalone organization and in partnership). The organization has two directors / co-founders and 7-man Board of Trustee drawn from different walks of life. The organization has its corporate office at Road1, Federal Low cost housing Estate,off Agbama road Umuahia, Abia State and at the concluding stage of having another state office in Imo and Anambra state. The organization was among the three best performing organization on World Bank Assisted HAF2 project in Abia state haven reached over 8,000population (above project target) among Males of Reproductive Age (MRA) and Out of School youths (OSY); these persons were reached with HIV testing and other minimum prevention packages. This outstanding performance earned the organization an automatic 16 million Naira project by World Bank (HAF2 Extension) for PMTCT intervention. The organization has remained consistent in her interventions and supports for Abia health system in particular. The outline of activities done so far in Abia state will reflect in the succeeding pages.

Chibueze Oparaocha Arthur
DIRECTOR/ CO-FOUNDER
Oparaocha Chibueze Arthur, is a Health Information Manager with over 16 years’ experience in Health-related information management, monitoring& evaluation and donor funded project implementation strategies and protocol. He has demonstrated expertise in management and implementation of projects at CBO and NGO levels, mostly donor supported projects. Part of expertise demonstrated are in areas of proposal writing for grants, work plan development (including budgeting), development of M&E plan, designing of implementation/data collection tools, development of sustainability plan, baseline assessment, mid term /end of project assessment, impact evaluation, capacity building and report writing. Oparaocha Chibueze is privilege to have adequate knowledge and usage of Microsoft Office packages, DHIS, ODK, and openmrs software. He also has strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively and work independently with minimal supervision . He is currently with Federal Medical Centre Umuahia, functioning as Assistant Chief Health Information Officer and Monitoring and Evaluation focal person, with responsibility of back stopping Service Delivery points, capacity building, data collation, analysis and reporting to facility management and other implementing partners. Oparaocha Chibueze is one of the founders of Arthur-B Health care organization; one of the fastest growing and leading NGO in Abia state Nigeria. Oparaocha Chibueze is a graduate of Health Information Management from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital Nnewi and LLB, Law from National Open University of Nigeria. He is fluent in English and Igbo.
OGECHUKWU BLESSING

Ogechukwu Blessing is a Laboratory Scientist from the University of Nigeria Nsukka, in addition, a Monitoring and Evaluation officer by training and practice, with special training and capacity building in M&E from FHI360. For over eight years of post-training, Ogechukwu Blesssing has applied the skills in so many public health interventions in varying capacities- as a volunteer, adhoc staff and project staff. My experience and job schedules in most of the projects include: Clinical Laboratory assessment and quality control, commodity inventory/ logistics, data entry into electronic databases, program monitoring, data abstraction, data collection and analysis and technical assistance in M&E. Others include; Specimen collection and quality control/check. Haven served as a backstop to Federal Medical Centre Umuahia Abia State, Health of the Sick Hospital Phalga Rivers State and General Hospital Eleme and Okrika Rivers State respectively, strengthened my ability to handle most challenges associated with comprehensive sites and tertiary/secondary health facilities. Haven also worked in over 17 PHCs both in Abia and Rivers State, makes me much acquainted with PHCs modus operandi. Ogechukwu is very proficient in the use of Ms Word, Excel, Power point and other database software such as DHIS2, NOMIS and LAMIS
